Emile Guth was born in 1911 as the oldest of four children. Guth had many relationships with Jewish people. After the war started she worked at a hospital and helped Jewish refugees. She was arrested, but released one month later. She married Andre Weingarten. The were caught by a secret agent pretending to be a part of the Resistance. Andre was beaten to death and Mirjam survived and was pregnant with Andre's child.
